The Governing Body is composed of people who represent the best interests of the school and work hard to shape its strategic direction.
The Governors have to consider and plan for the future of the school and to ensure that the well-being, education and needs of the children are paramount in all decisions. Foundation Governors are appointed by the Archbishop, the LA appoints one governor, parents elect one governor and the staff elect three governors. The Head Teacher may exercise his or her right to either be or not be a governor of the school.

Our Governors are committed to the drive to raise standards for all of our children. They work to ensure the happiness and well-being of all of the children of Holy Trinity. Anyone at all interested in the work of the Governors should contact anyone listed above. Governors visit school whilst it is in session and therefore all are DBS checked. They often help within school and are present at school events and functions.
You may wish to be a Governor of a school yourself. Why not find out more about it? The local authority is always keen to encourage all parents and friends of schools, of all backgrounds and heritage, to become involved in the life of our Local Education Authority and the Archdiocese.
