A few more photos of the Y6 Leavers’ Party. Many thanks to Ms Smith and Mrs Garbett for sending them through.
Elvis has left the building! We hope all of our Y6 children had a fab night, right from the red carpet welcome to the fantastic food, well deserved awards and, of course, the King, flown in from Las Vegas to make our Hollywood night complete. Many, many thanks to our organising committee, the brilliant moms of the Garbett, Green, Anderson, Simpson, Sidhu, Smith and Jones families. Thank you to Mr Green for his hard work in the photo booth, Father Craig for hosting the Oscar ceremony and Mr Cunninham for the great food. Mrs Winton did a fab job with the party bus and finally, of course, to every single one of our children and their families. This is what #TEAMHT do when we all work together. We hope you had a great night.
The first of a long week of goodbyes began on Sunday with our Leavers’ Mass. Tao Te Ching wrote “When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.” Year 6’s Mass was emotional but uplifting. They are starting, slowly, to let go of us and we are beginning to see what these wonderful young people will be.
