Afternoon at St Thomas More

A wonderful afternoon spent at St Thomas More Catholic School with our Confirmandi, joined by Bishop Timothy, Fr Craig, parish catechists, school staff, and children from across the parish who are also preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.

It was a joy to listen to the children speak so eloquently about their faith, sharing the saints they have chosen to inspire them and the reasons behind their choices. Their reflections were thoughtful, personal and full of meaning. They also greatly valued the opportunity to hear from Bishop Timothy, learning more about his vocation and deepening their understanding of the saints and their faith.

A huge thank you to everyone who organised and facilitated such a special gathering, and particularly to St Thomas More Catholic School for their warm hospitality and delicious lunch.

We now look forward with pride and prayer as the children receive the gift of the Holy Spirit in the Sacrament of Confirmation this evening.
