Easter Picture Competition Winners!
We were delighted to celebrate the winners of our Easter Picture Competition this week! Our judges, including our fantastic prefects, had the incredibly difficult task of selecting winners from a collection of wonderfully creative and artistic entries. The imagination, effort and attention to detail on display made it no easy decision! A huge well done to all who took part: your work brightened our school and captured the spirit of Easter beautifully. Congratulations to our w

Eco-Team and Year 6 School Councillors
This week, our Eco-Team and Year 6 School Councillors were wonderful stewards of creation as they took part in a litter pick around our local area. This was our contribution to the Great Big School Clean, part of Keep Britain Tidy’s annual Great British Spring Clean. As always, the children got completely stuck in - even braving wind, rain and hail- to help make our community a cleaner, more beautiful place. Their determination and teamwork were fantastic to see! Thank You to Our Wonderful Faith Ambassadors
A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful Faith Ambassadors for the inspiring way they have led this year’s SVP Lent campaign, Heart to Heart . 💜 Through leading Key Stage assemblies and delivering beautiful Celebrations of the Word in classrooms, they have helped guide and support our whole school community this Lent. Inspired by the example of St Pier Giorgio Frassati, they have encouraged us all to “lift others to the heights”, reminding us to notice those who may feel lonel

KS2 Lenten Liturgy
Lat week, we were blessed to come together for a truly beautiful KS2 Lenten liturgy. Through thoughtful scripture readings, prayers and reflections, our Faith Ambassadors and representatives from each KS2 class led us in remembering what is truly important during Lent. We were reminded that, while we reflect on Jesus’ death on the cross with sadness, the cross is not the end. We give thanks for His great sacrifice and look forward with hope and joy to the promise of Easter.

Sacrament of Reconciliation
Last Thursday was a truly beautiful occasion as children from across the parish received the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time. We are incredibly proud of the children of Holy Trinity who received the Sacrament; the joy and pride on their faces was wonderful to see. We know how hard the children have worked to prepare for this, and we hope they continue to cherish and make use of the privilege of this precious sacrament throughout their lives. Thank you also to p

Year 6 - St Chad’s Cathedral
Last week, our Year 6 pupils enjoyed a wonderful visit to St Chad’s Cathedral. We were given a fascinating tour by our knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides, who helped us learn more about the history and significance of the cathedral. The children were especially interested to hear about St Chad, and it was a very special moment to be able to sit close to his holy relics. During the visit, we also learned about Archbishop Bernard and studied his coat of arms, discovering mor
