Celebrating St John Henry Newman

Our Parish Patron, St John Henry Newman, has recently been declared a Doctor of the Church! A few events are being held to celebrate and honour him, both today and over the weekend:
Thursday 9th October: Today, on St John Henry Newman's Feast Day, our Year 5 children joined others from the Parish schools for a workshop celebrating his life.
Saturday 11th October: The Parish will be holding a special CJM/Jo Boyce concert at St Joseph's Church in honour of the new Doctor, starting at 7:30pm (tickets required).
Sunday 12th October: At 10am, our family Mass at Holy Trinity Church will reflect on his life. Later in the day, the Parish will also be holding a sponsored walk around the four churches of our Parish, starting from St Mary's at 1pm.
