What a fantastic day we’ve had in school! Our children arrived in bright bursts of yellow, Pudsey ears proudly worn, and a whole range of colourful mufti outfits. A huge thank you to our families for giving so generously - your kindness makes such a difference.
We kicked off the day with a whole-school assembly, learning about the important causes supported by Children in Need. We also drew the raffle, made possible by the generous donations from our families, with Pudsey prizes galore!
Across the school, children enjoyed the story “Pudsey and the Thread of Hope,” which encouraged everyone to dream big, share their feelings, and show kindness wherever they go.
In Year 6, two of our talented writers created a truly heart-warming story as part of a special Children in Need project. They performed it for their class and for the Team Manager of the Communications, Literacy and Languages Team at Wolverhampton City Council, who coordinated the project. He also spoke to the children about the inspiring work he supports in schools in Ethiopia, Gaza and Uganda, helping them understand the different experiences children have around the world.
Key Stage 2 got moving with Joe Wicks’ Children in Need workout: lots of energy, lots of laughter, and plenty of determination!
It’s been a busy, joyful and meaningful day for a wonderful cause. Thank you to our amazing children for their enthusiasm and to our families for your generous support. 💛
