First Holy Communion - Sunday 28th June 2026

What a beautiful and joyous morning we have had today as some of our children received the Sacrament of the Eucharist for the very first time.

First Holy Communion is a truly special milestone, and we pray that for those who have received it today, this marks the beginning of a lifelong journey of growing closer to Jesus through the Eucharist.

We are so proud of all of our children, who received Jesus today with such faith and reverence. Our readers proclaimed God's Word and led the bidding prayers beautifully, while those presenting the offertory gifts did so with great dignity. We hope you are as proud of yourselves as we are!

A huge thank you to Fr Craig and our altar servers for such a wonderful Mass; the choir, organist and HeartSong for the beautiful music; our staff and parish catechists for preparing the children over many months and supporting them today; families and friends for their continued support and encouragement; everyone who helped prepare the church and organise today's celebrations and refreshments; those who provided the delicious cakes; and our whole parish community for coming together to make today so special.

Please continue to keep our First Holy Communion children and their families in your prayers as they continue their journey of faith.
