This Sunday we are delighted to welcome Bishop Timothy to our parish. He will be celebrating the 11:30am Mass at St Joseph’s, Wolverhampton and joining us in a very special parish event – LOUDfence.
LOUDfence is a visible act of solidarity. Throughout the weekend, brightly coloured ribbons, messages and tokens will be tied to fences as a sign of support for all who have been harmed by others in any way. It is a powerful reminder that no one is alone, and that as a community we choose compassion, openness and care.
Our Year 6 children, alongside pupils from the other parish schools, will be preparing their own LOUDfence ribbons. These will be presented during the offertory at Sunday’s Mass.
All families are warmly invited to attend the 11:30am Mass in support. Your presence and participation in the wider LOUDfence activities running from 6th–8th March would also be most welcome and valued. Please see the flyer below for full details of the events taking place during the LOUDfence weekend.
Let us come together as a parish family to pray, to stand with those who are hurting, and to show that even small acts of kindness can make a powerful difference.
