Retreat Day at Holy Trinity Church

What a truly wonderful retreat day we shared yesterday at Holy Trinity Church with our Confirmandi children, alongside other young people from across the parish preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.

It was such a special opportunity for the children to pause and reflect deeply on their faith, and on how it will be strengthened through the sacrament they are about to receive next week: both in the joyful moments of life and in the more challenging times.

Throughout the day, they prayed together, sang together, laughed together, and spoke with such heartfelt honesty and eloquence. It was a real joy to witness.

A sincere thank you to OneLife Music for leading such an inspiring day, to Fr Craig and our dedicated parish catechists for their constant support, and most of all to the children themselves for being such faith-filled and thoughtful young people.

We are so looking forward to proudly watching them receive the Holy Spirit in the Sacrament of Confirmation next Wednesday.
