Yesterday’s Mass at St Joseph’s, Wolverhampton, with Bishop Timothy, as well as Fr Craig, Fr Frank, Fr Paulinus and Deacon Max, was truly beautiful. It was wonderful to see so many of our Holy Trinity children and their families there to reflect on the gospel in connection with the LOUDfence event hosted in the parish this weekend.
The gospel message invited us to notice the vulnerability in others, to stand in solidarity with those around us, and to offer love, support and hope. The ribbons tied to the fences gave that message loud and clear: we see, we care, and we stand together with those hurt by others in any way.
A special thank you to our Year 6 children, whose thoughtful and heartfelt messages and prayers for those who have been hurt were tied to mini-LOUDfences and displayed. Their compassion and sincerity were truly moving.
Moments like this remind us of the strength of our community when we come together in faith, kindness and hope.
